CorpEvents New England was selected to work with Suffolk Construction & The Boston Convention And Exhibition Center engineers to construct the BCEC into the “Boston Hope” Medical Center. Boston Hope is a full functioning hospital to support Boston in the Covid-19 Pandemic.
CorpEvents NE provided the labor to support this project and is now working 24/7 to manage incoming and outgoing materials at the docks. This project began on April 4 and was fully constructed in less than a week.
“This was literally done in four days and having everyone come together. It’s just amazing to see it all come together.”– Mayor Marty Walsh
Boston Hope stretches over 516,000 square feet of space which would typically be occupied by trade shows and conventions. The medical facility will host 1,000 + beds, increasing the capacity to treat coronavirus patients. In addition, there are six acute-care suites and a physical therapy suite as well as 52 nurses stations and 48 bathroom facilities.
CorpEvents New England is honored to assist Governor Charlie Baker’s efforts to combat Covid-19 in Boston and throughout the Commonwealth.
